Tips to Destress

With school back in session pretty much everywhere, things might be starting to get a bit stressful. Trying to juggle school, work, family, friends, and even just keeping yourself together can start to take a toll. That's why it's important to take care of yourself and de-stress every one in a while. Here are 8 ways you can combat stress and enjoy some "me" time.

1. Pamper yourself 
With a bubble bath, face mask, or even a full spa day
2. Cuddle with a pet
No one know how to make you feel better than your furry friend
3. Indulge in your favorite treat
Sometimes all it takes to feel better is by treating yourself to something you might not usually eat
4. Find a hobby
Find something you love and just do it
5. Journal
Let out all your thoughts and worries on paper. You'll feel better once its out
6. Breathe
Just breathe. Close your eyes and a take a deep breath. Doesn't have to be full meditation but bring yourself back to this moment and breathe.
7. Digital Detox
Technology is great, but occasionally it's a good idea to turn off your phone, close the computer, and just disconnect.
8. Exercise
Exercise gives you endorphins, endorphins make you happy :) I personally love yoga, but do whatever works for you. Just a few minutes can make a huge difference
