1st Trimester Must-Haves

Ahh the first trimester...it totally sucked! 2 weeks after I found out I was pregnant the morning sickness hit me HARD. I swear I was pretty much bedridden from February 14th-March 31st due to a complete loss of appetite and throwing up every possible thing I ate. Real beautiful, right?

However, there were a few things that made the 1st trimester a bit easier and I thought I'd share those with y'all today!

1. Water, Water, and More Water
Hydration is so important as we all know, but especially during pregnancy. If you're struggled with hyperemesis gravidarum like I was, then you know how dangerous the risk of dehydration is during pregnancy. I tried to keep water by me at all times. Your body and your baby will appreciate it. Plus what's better than water in a super cute cup! I got this one for my birthday a few weeks ago and I am obsessed. Get your own here!
2. Pregnancy Apps
"What to Expect" and "Ovia Pregnancy" are my two favorites. I love being able to keep track of what baby h is up to this week. Especially when I don't get to hear their heartbeat/see them on ultrasound as much as I would like too. This week it says Baby H is the size of a navel orange and learning to grab.
3. Leggings
Does this need explaining? They're comfy and as your belly expands...well so do stretchy leggings!
4.Applesauce and Jello
These two foods were pretty much the only thing I could tolerate during the 1st trimester. Even know I eat applesauce for breakfast practically every day. 
Like I said,I was stuck in bed ALL day. The only thing that kept me entertained was Netflix. Gilmore Girls marathon, anyone?
6.The Magical Cocktail
B6/Unisom as strange as it sounds, really do help with morning sickness! I take it each night before bed and I definitely notice a difference on how I feel. Once I started taking it, food actually stayed down.Woohoo!
7. Gotta Moisturize
My skin got SO dry in the first trimester. This creamy body butter came in handy. I love the texture and it smells so nice. Definitely one of my favorite products, pregnant or not.
